Acts of kindness

It feels like every day we are presented with new challenges.

If you are particularly impacted by COVID-19, it's difficult to stay grounded and focus on anything positive or productive. It's hard to know what to do amidst all the uncertainty.

If you are better equipped to deal with the crisis, you can still see the stress and hardship that your fellow human beings are going through.

Regardless of your current circumstances, finding ways to be kind and compassionate to others is a great way to stay grounded and keep yourself connected.

When you put aside your own problems to help someone, it can fill you with a sense of purpose and have an uplifting effect.

Acts of kindness nourish your soul and lift your spirits.

The vibrational energy of kindness has a ripple effect. It helps you AND the person you are healing.

More importantly, sending this energy out into the world helps heal the planet and everyone in it!

Start to focus on your breath.

Ground yourself

Quiet your mind. Let distracting thoughts and worries release down your grounding cord.

Visualize yourself surrounded by pure gold light. Feel the vibration of this healing color.

Each time you inhale, send gold light into every cell of your body.

When you feel yourself filled to overflowing, start to send this energy out to the people you want to help. Maybe it's your friends, neighbors, people in your city or town, owners and workers at a struggling business, health care workers…

Continue to send gold light out to heal the world and everyone that needs it.

Once you've finished gold light, try a different color. This color can be whatever feels right to you. I've been using pink energy recently because it feels nurturing and compassionate.

Send this new color out to anyone that needs it.

Experiment with a few different colors. See each one healing, comforting and bringing balance and peace.

When you are ready, send one final bright ball of gold energy down through your space.

Release any residual worries down your grounding cord and gently bring the focus back to your breathing.
