How to hear your intuition again
Have you ever hit a moment in your life where everything feels… unclear?
You’re not in crisis, but you’re not quite at peace either. You’re doing your best, showing up, staying busy—but under the surface, there’s this nagging feeling: something’s off.
You start second-guessing yourself.
You overthink things that used to feel simple.
You wonder, Where did my intuition go?
If this sounds familiar, you’re not broken—and you’re definitely not alone.
Why This Happens
When you’ve been holding it all together for a long time—whether for work, family, or just surviving the day-to-day—it’s easy to lose touch with your inner voice. You become so outwardly focused that your intuition starts to feel distant or even silent.
But here’s the truth:
✨ Your intuition hasn’t disappeared.
✨ It hasn’t stopped guiding you.
✨ You’ve just been in survival mode—and that’s a hard place to receive guidance.
Signs You Might Be Disconnected From Your Intuition
You feel stuck or indecisive, especially about things you used to be sure of
You keep looking outside yourself for answers, but nothing quite clicks
You doubt what you’re feeling, or dismiss it as “just in your head”
You feel tired, emotionally heavy, or like something is missing
This isn’t about doing something wrong—it’s about being human. And intuitive people often feel this even more intensely because they’re used to having a strong inner sense of direction. When that feels out of reach, it can be unsettling.
How to Start Reconnecting
The first step isn’t about doing more. It’s about creating space.
Here are a few gentle ways to begin:
1. Get Quiet (Even Just for 5 Minutes)
You don’t need a 60-minute meditation. Just a few quiet moments with your phone on silent, your hand on your heart, and your breath moving slowly can start to shift everything.
2. Ask a Simple Question
Not “What should I do with my life?” but something smaller like,
“What do I need right now?” or “What’s one thing I can do today that brings me peace?”
3. Pay Attention to How Your Body Responds
Does something make you feel lighter? Does your breath deepen? Does your stomach tighten?
Your body often knows before your mind does.
4. Be Willing to Not Know Right Away
Sometimes guidance shows up in a conversation, a song lyric, a dream—or a moment of stillness days later.
Give it space. Trust that it’s coming.
A Loving Reminder
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be perfect—or even particularly spiritual.
Your intuition is already with you—it’s just waiting for you to come home to it.
